Q. Well played today, Adam. Can you talk us through your opening round.
ADAM BRESNU: Sure. I shot 66, 5-under today, bogey free. It was really nice. I mean, it was tough, to be honest, at first. I think six holes I didn't take a lot of greens. I was having a lot of chance for par. I think I had really good chipping today, so that helped me a lot to be honest. Also, my putting was inside seven feet. I don't think I missed any putt except one.
Super happy to start like this. It's always good. Now I'm probably sure that I'm going to make the cut. You never know, but I think I'm in a pretty good place now and have a chance to win. Still three days, but you know.
Q. You had a great finish last year. What is it about this course that suits your game? How excited are you to come back?
ADAM BRESNU: I think I like the course to be honest. I love Saudi Arabia. It's always a pleasure to come here. I have a lot of friends here, Saud, Othman, all of them. It's great. I feel like I'm home to be honest. Whenever I go to Arab countries, it's like home to me. So I think it impact kind of my game. It helps me a lot too.
Yeah, this tournament is unreal. What Golf Saudi does for us, Arab golfers, it's really good. Happy to be here.
Q. You have a tied 6 finish at this event last year. Are you trying to replicate that heroic act?
ADAM BRESNU: My goal is to win. I traveled like three days. It's not to make the cut, it's literally to win. Of course I'll take making the cut is good. Top five is good. But I want to win.
Q. How are you feeling like playing again in the field that's so strong with so many top players of the world?
ADAM BRESNU: Pretty good. Last year what I did and also at the rolling series, now I know I have the level to do it, the potential. So I know if I play my A game, I can do it for sure.
I know those guys are pretty good too at golf. So I have to play really good.
Q. You missed out on IS Morocco earlier this year.
ADAM BRESNU: I did. I'm sorry.
Q. Is this now considered your home game?
ADAM BRESNU: Kind of, yeah. I wish I came to the International Series in Morocco because it's my home course in Rabat. I felt like I had to stay in the U.S. to play amateur tournaments. It was really important for me. But I'll try to come this year.
