FAISAL SALHAB: I've been working hard over the last couple months. The last week I find that something is like clicking and feeling better. I feel like I played well. I grinded when I need to. It was good.
The course conditions are excellent. So hopefully another good one tomorrow and onto the weekend.
Q. You've had some great performances from the other Saudi players today. You've all seemed to have a great day. What do you think the secret is?
FAISAL SALHAB: I think we're happy to play at home. That's the secret. I think we're happy to be at home. We're happy to be playing in front of the home crowd. It's great to see our golf course in such good condition, and we want to do well. This is a big one for us.
Q. Actually, a lot of the other players have been talking about how good the condition of the course is. That must make you feel proud?
FAISAL SALHAB: 100 percent. I think Golf Saudi as a team, what they've done over the past six months is incredible. What they've done not only on the golf course, but the facilities around the golf course.
I think it goes to show that they're really investing and they really see a big, bright future for this game.
Q. You didn't seem nervous today. You've had like a great day. How have you learnt from the previous years to this year's opportunity to make the most of it?
FAISAL SALHAB: To be fair, I was nervous. I don't think I'll ever not be nervous. I want to play well. So I think just embracing the nerves and trying to play regardless of what -- like I feel good, I feel bad, I still have to go out and play. So it was good to see some putts drop and to play well.
