Q. Talk about your second round.
KHALID ATTIEH: Yeah, I mean, was a lot better today. Felt like I played really well, hit the ball really well. Had a lot of chances on the front nine; unfortunately didn't drop.
Felt like I was still putting well and got a few on the back. Just I think a small error on 17 made for a bogey there. Was kind of pushing to make the cut, so I knew I had to make a few birdies coming in.
Got a good one on 15 and another one on 16. Unfortunately I think I'm going to be a little short this year. It's okay. There are a lot of positives to take from the round today so very happy.
Q. What got you going today?
KHALID ATTIEH: I think a little bit of mindset. Just kind of freeing it up a little bit and just thinking of just hitting good shots and not thinking of externals. So I think that kept me really focused in my targets.
So I worked with my golf coach a little bit yesterday on mindset and approaching today's round and knew we had to go out and shoot a low one, so I was attacking pins from the getgo. I think I about that very well. Unfortunate to miss a few on the front, and then I think it was a good round overall.
Q. You said that you had some key takeaways from the week. What would they be?
KHALID ATTIEH: Yeah, it's just lovely to be around such atmosphere. Lovely to be around such world class players. Asian Tour, and I mean, LIV guys are world class. Being a young pro, I've just turned pro about a year now, and just trying to soak it and gain as much experience as possible and apply that to myself on and off the golf course.
