Quick Quotes

Q. Birdie on the last there. How important was that for momentum?

MIGUEL TABUENA: Yeah, I felt like I hit well all day. Just didn't hole as many putts as I wanted to. To end with a birdie is always good.

I'm still there, you know. There is still a chance with two days left. Asaji didn't play well this week so he's pretty much out, so it gives me a clear way and a clear door to do what I have to do.

But it's never easy, especially with these guys here. But all I wanted was a chance and I got one.

Q. Three birdies today. Watching the leaderboard, wondering your perspective. Are you pushing for the birdies? Do you have to stay patient? Obviously you know there are guys like Thomas Pieters and Meronk yesterday...

MIGUEL TABUENA: Yeah, I guess if I'm in position to play aggressive then I will. There is definitely some risk-reward holes here so you have to take your chances. I think all these guys will do it, so you have to go deep the next two days and see what happens.

Q. Just wondering on that, kind of like thinking on two levels. You're thinking about this tournament and what you want to do and got the rankings to think about as well. What kind of additional pressure does that put on you or give you a bit more...

MIGUEL TABUENA: Just with the clarity. I believe if I play good golf it'll take care of itself. I don't want to think too much about results. Just focus what I can control. Which is like I said my process and just see what happens.

Q. Playing as well as you were at the Santa Elena?

MIGUEL TABUENA: It's close. It's close. I believe I still have two good rounds in me to see if I can get as far as I can.
