Q. 4-under today anyway.
WADE ORMSBY: Yeah.
Q. Are you happy with that?
WADE ORMSBY: Yeah, I guess where we are in the schedule, you know, I've got two important events in Australia coming up. You try to look forward. What's done is done.
Probably it's no surprise the last month hasn't been the golf that I want to play. After a win you're trying to get better and you go backwards, so probably pushing too hard in the wrong areas.
That's all right. Try to free up this week, and game felt pretty good. I putted terribly out there today and shot that score. No, it's fine. It is what it is. I've been around long enough I know what this game is like.
Q. The win in Jakarta obviously made it quite a big chance.
WADE ORMSBY: Yeah.
Q. I wonder when you're talking about your -- how the game can -- how things...
WADE ORMSBY: Change, yeah.
Q. Was there pressure or no?
WADE ORMSBY: I wouldn't say too much pressure. Like I probably didn't play my best golf in Jakarta. I putted nicely and that's why I won the golf tournament. So I knew I had work to do on my golf game and I probably ramped it up, putting too much focus mechanically on my golf game. That's fine. You learn from that and you keep on going.
No, I'm looking forward to the next couple weeks. Nice to birdie a few holes coming in there, but actually hit it really close today. Can still have more balance and more squareness in my golf swing, but, yeah, with this game you're always progressing and always pushing forward and always looking for different ways to get better -- or not different ways, you're never really happy with your game. It's always a constant push really.
Q. You'd still surely take a tournament win at the end of the season, do you know what I mean?
WADE ORMSBY: Absolutely.
Q. It's just a successful season and you got two home tournaments now.
WADE ORMSBY: Yeah, exactly. My family at home reminding me of that. I've been probably a piece of work at the moment the last few weeks. I've been pretty annoying to be around. I'm just trying to be happy where I'm at.
But, yeah, no, you take tournament wins. Often at the end of your career you're measured by your wins and some of those things are your greatest -- or not greatest, are the things that you do remember at the end of your career.
That was a good one. I'm happy with the season. I've always been a very consistent player and always played pretty solid week in week out and haven't done that the last few weeks, so that's probably a bit out of the usual pattern for me.
But anyway, like I said, eyes forward and press on and work out next week.
Q. And is the promotions event in your kind of...
WADE ORMSBY: It's absolutely there. It's in a tricky time of the year for me, right in the middle of the summer with a young family. But I'll decide what I do in the next few weeks. Yeah, it's great opportunity for the Tour and fantastic that we got two more spots there. Yeah, I'll just balance out what I'm going to do and be nice to have a crack at that. We'll look at the next two weeks and Christmas first.
