Q. Dean, I know that wasn't the final round you were looking for, but how would you analyse your play today?
DEAN BURMESTER: Actually, not that bad to be honest. Sometimes that's just how golf goes. I didn't feel like I played that badly the first few holes. I just didn't take my chances basically. I didn't make putts. I hit a lot of greens, and I made three -- there were three 50/50 calls out there for me on what to do on certain holes, and all of them I got wrong. That's sometimes how golf goes. You can't get it right all the time.
Yeah, I'm proud of the improvements I made throughout the week. I don't feel like I'm disheartened that badly. I tried on every shot. Jose played unbelievable. Credit to him. He did a great job.
Q. Any positives you can take away from this week?
DEAN BURMESTER: There's so many positives. I've been in a really inconsistent place the last little while. So to be able to be in contention and consistent. I shot three rounds under-par and a level-par for me. For the way this year's gone, it's pretty good.
I haven't really had that much. I've had glimpses of great and glimpses of pretty average. Today and this week was a step in the right direction.
Q. What are you doing after this?
DEAN BURMESTER: I have two in South Africa. I'm playing the South African PGA at St Francis Links next week on the Sunshine Tour, and then I'll play the Dunhill.
Q. Small break anyway before coming back here, I guess.
DEAN BURMESTER: Yeah, I little break, and then February we're back under the lights. It's going to be exciting. I've heard what the greenskeeping staff are going to do, overseed the course. Hopefully if that gets the rough up, and it will play longer because it's colder, it will be a good test, I think.
