Q. In the third round to fall out of the lead but didn't drop a single shot, produced a brilliant final round to close out this championship. You must be tremendously proud.
JOSELE BALLESTER: First of all, thank you so much. I'm super happy.
It's been everything, right? Like at the end of the day, being a young boy dreaming about this moment, winning your first professional career, this is why I worked so hard every day. It's been really cool to finally get this done. It's going to make me keep working even harder to accomplish all the things I have.
But right now I'm really happy and thankful for all the people that have been there supporting me.
Q. It's been quite the year for you as well. You tee it up in the Masters. You get signed to the Fireballs by legend of Spanish golf Sergio Garcia, and now you find yourself lifting this trophy for your first professional win. With five months and all that accomplished, what does next year hold for you?
JOSELE BALLESTER: That's a great question. I'll have to sit down with my team and think about that. I'm a very ambitious guy, so I'm going to for sure dream big and keep my expectations high.
It's been great these past few months. It's been a lot of learning. When I joined LIV, I was not playing great, and it was a learning process. I had to become better. It's been really cool to see that in this brief time I've gotten so much better and that I can compete at the highest level with the best players in the world.
Q. You've got a wonderful mentor and you've got a great team around you. I know Sergio has been watching ever since the coverage started today. Any words you have for your captain watching on his plane right now?
