Q. New season. How do you feel to start the season 2022?
TVESA MALIK: I'm very excited to be back, and I'm very excited to start here in Saudi with such a big event. The course looks really good, so I'm looking forward to it.
Q. Windier than ever?
TVESA MALIK: Yes, this is the windiest we've played it so far.
Q. Do you like windy golf?
TVESA MALIK: I'm getting used to it now. It takes some getting used to, but yeah, I think it's going to be a good test.
Q. How long did you have off, two months, three months?
TVESA MALIK: Three months.
Q. Did you benefit from your period off? What did you do in your time off?
TVESA MALIK: Yes, I made a few changes. I worked on that a lot.
Q. What kind of changes?
TVESA MALIK: A lot of changes in my swing. Just to see if I can get a little bit better. Slow work in progress, but I worked on that a lot. So I was happy with the time off.
Q. What's your ambitions for season 2022?
TVESA MALIK: I had a decent finish last year. I finished in the top 20, but I'd like to finish better than that this year.
Q. Do you see that as an attainable target?
TVESA MALIK: I think so, yes, I do.
Q. What do you feel we need to do to make that happen.
TVESA MALIK: If I can get the swing changes to set in, I think I'd be pretty happy.
Q. How were the changes feeling around the course?
TVESA MALIK: They need a little bit more work. They need a little bit of time. But I'm working hard at it. So I hope it comes together soon.
Q. This is your third time playing this event here?
TVESA MALIK: Yes.
Q. Do you feel like you know the course well? Do you feel like it's good for you this week? Do you feel like it's a course that could suit you?
TVESA MALIK: Yes, definitely. I really enjoyed my time here last year. I think, if you're hitting it good, you have so many chances to make birdies, and I think that's really exciting. So if I can get that to work here, I do like the course a lot.
Q. So much here for women's golf. This year is going to be a record breaking season for women's golf and the LET. $30 million up for grabs this season. First off, as a player, how does that feel going into the season knowing 2019 was $12.8 million up for grabs and it's more than doubled this season. How does it feel from a player's perspective?
TVESA MALIK: I think it's amazing. It makes it really exciting for how hard we worked and how much time we're spending out here, this is what we're choosing to do as a career. So it's nice to see people are believing in it and putting more money in it because it makes it so much more worthwhile for us.
Q. People that are putting a lot of money into it are Golf Saudi and Aramco. How nice is it to see that investment coming into women's golf?
TVESA MALIK: Huge. I think everyone will agree it's a tournament that this week everyone wants to -- no one wants to miss it. Everyone wants to keep coming back for it. They have good events, and the courses we play are amazing. We've been to amazing parts of the world, New York, London, over here. Yeah, it's great to have Golf Saudi supporting us.
Q. A lot of people, a lot of players come to this event because of the way they put it on with the stands and stuff. I know not a lot of people come in Saudi to watch it, but a lot of players think it's almost got a major feel to it, the way it's laid out, the quality of the course. Is that something you feel?
TVESA MALIK: Yeah, it's a beautiful golf course anyway, but the facilities are so great. This year we even have the players lounge, which is a little different, but it's so nice. It definitely feels very special. It feels like a big event. It feels like a special event, so that's nice.
