Q. When you saw this course, did you think this is a course that I can do something on?
ANDY OGLETREE: Yeah, I enjoy when people are complaining and griping about the golf course because that just takes them out of the field. Any time that people are bitching about the course setup or how the course layout is, it's better for me.
Q. How did it go today? Obviously pretty smooth other than the one bogey?
ANDY OGLETREE: Yeah, bogeyed a par-4 that should be a par-5. Really didn't make a bogey in my head.
Clean up a little bit of putting stuff. I felt like I left a couple out there. I had some good looks that I didn't convert on. Other than that, I feel like I kept it in front of me very nicely, drove it great, and had a lot of opportunities. Definitely a great day.
Q. How have you been able to overcome -- you've had the wrist problem. Like today how much did it -- it didn't seem to impact you, but does it?
ANDY OGLETREE: Yeah, I've made some adjustments to my golf swing to alleviate some of the pain and be able to perform the way I want to.
With the new swing, it's taken a little time. Learning different shot shapes, learning different tendencies, learning tendencies under pressure, learning different lies and how far the ball is going to fly and all these different things with the different move I'm trying to put on it to alleviate some pain. So it's taken a little while, but I feel like I've been trending in the right direction for a few weeks now.
Nice to put together a full round. I've had a lot of days where I've played 13 and 14 really good holes and then kind of held myself back by a bad stretch. Today I was in it all day and played some solid golf.
Q. When did you kind of start changing that swing? When would it have been?
ANDY OGLETREE: I've kind of tinkered all year, but I feel like I finally found something that I can trust under pressure. Yeah, the last three weeks, I would say, we've been working on this, so since Spain.
Q. Obviously battling those kinds of injuries, I suspect the team has been really patient with you knowing what the situation is.
ANDY OGLETREE: Yeah, I honestly at times have been annoyed with how positive the team has been. No, don't tell me how great I am. I've been playing like crap.
No, they've been super supportive. Everyone has been super nice to me. Obviously I haven't had the year that I expect to or the year that I want to have, and they still treat me just as well, and I don't think that's the case with every team. I've really, really enjoyed that.
Phil has been super positive. He's actually given me some help with my golf swing as well. Taking advice from everyone and trying to put it together for the end of the year.
Q. And from a team standpoint, I think you guys were tied for the lead, at least the last time I checked. Oh, one back now. How important is it, not only individually, but it would be nice to have the HyFlyers win?
ANDY OGLETREE: Yeah, like I said, we haven't had the year that I want to, and we haven't had the year that I want to. Had a good day, and I'll go out tomorrow and try to do the same thing.
All I can do is my job. At the end of the week, we'll see how it lines up, and everyone is going to try their best, everyone is going to play to the best of their ability. If we win, great. If not, we've got another one in Greenbrier coming up.
I think everyone just needs to focus on what they can do to try to shoot the lowest score they can.
