Q. Cam, Ripper are the team champions, and when I say team, I mean the entire team, players, caddies, coaches, all the backroom staff. How proud are you of your entire organization?
CAM SMITH: Mate, it's so good. I mean, not only great golfers but they're better people. I think that's what being a Ripper is all about. Just so happens that we're good golfers, too. It's a good combo. But to have those three guys out there today, or six other guys really to lean on trying to get the job done, there was something in me that was telling me that we were going to be all right.
Q. Describe to me how hard this format is on your nerves. One minute you're leading, then you're out of it, and then you're back in it.
CAM SMITH: Yeah, I said to Sam after like the second or third hole, the scoreboard had already changed so much, and I said, I'm not even going to look at the scoreboard, it's useless on these days. You know exactly like you said, you finish one hole and you're two or three up, the next hole you're two or three behind. It happened to us in Adelaide, and just didn't want to let it happen again. Yeah, it was good.
Q. Do you feel this is not only a win for Ripper GC but for golf in Australia? You have so much support.
CAM SMITH: Absolutely. The event down there has been amazing. We've got great support. We're in Dallas, Texas, at the moment, and the amount of Ripper hats that I see around is pretty cool. We've got the best fans and the best traveling fans. They're everywhere. It's pretty cool to be part of that.
