Quick Quotes

Q. 67 today, right? I think that seems okay.

BRETT COLETTA: I was just thinking over my last putt. Probably that was to save me waiting around four hours.

Q. I didn't see it. How long was it?

BRETT COLETTA: 12 feet, just under the hole. Good putt, just rolled in.

Q. You birdied 3 of the last 4?

BRETT COLETTA: I did.

Q. Did you feel like you needed to do that?

BRETT COLETTA: It was kind of solid all day. Slow start. I think I was 1-over through maybe six or seven -- no, five. Then got a quick birdie to get me back on and then made a couple longer putts towards the end of the front nine. Then just held true to the back nine.

I just knew if I had stayed patient -- because last week I had kind of played those last four holes pretty good. So I just thought, if I could keep to my game plan and just commit to the shots, some would fall. I did, I pretty much hit every good shot coming in. Last four holes, I didn't really miss a shot in terms of strike and where I wanted to hit it.

I'm placed for sure.

Q. 36-hole final, what is the strategy? What is your outlook going into tomorrow?

BRETT COLETTA: I don't know. I haven't played 36 holes in a day since an amateur tournament when I was like 15. So probably like 12, 13 years ago.

It's going to be different. There's going to be an aspect of fatigue out there. We're in the desert. It's hot.

No, no strategy. I think it's -- there's one spot, so it's a sprint, the same kind of deal. It's going to be hard to know. Today the wind was a bit more up than yesterday, and the scores aren't really on par with what yesterday was, so you can't really compare.

It can get a little breezy out here, which makes it tough. Just a little bit, just enough to throw you off laterally or in between a club. It's going to be a very variable day, especially if the wind gets up.

I want to bring it on. Something different for a change.

Q. Do you have any status on the Asian Tour right now?

BRETT COLETTA: No, not in Asia. I've got Europe status.

Q. If you finish top 10 tomorrow, that would get you in the International Series?

BRETT COLETTA: Yeah, that's going to be a conversation. I mean, these are good problems to have.

Q. Most of your playing is in Australia, right?

BRETT COLETTA: Yes, last couple years have been and had a good year last year, and that got me the category for Europe, which looks pretty good this year, to be honest, compared to last year and the Q-School numbers and how it's kind of worked out for myself and a couple of others.

Yeah, just whatever happens tomorrow, I suppose the more the merrier in terms of starts and opportunity. Definitely better for sure. That's a conversation to have when it's all said and done.
