Q. Nice finish. What were you thinking after the bogey there?
JACK BUCHANAN: I was playing pretty good all day, but the greens are a little bit bumpy, sort of easy to miss a couple shorties. There's a couple chances coming in, and a couple putts dropped for me. So it's a good result.
Q. Did you feel like you kind of knew you had to make a run just to get a shot?
JACK BUCHANAN: Yeah, I was thinking maybe three would get me to a playoff. My goal is, if I get to 4, I know I'm safe. So I had to do something.
Q. Can you talk me through the three birdies at the end, how long the putts were?
JACK BUCHANAN: The par-5, I hit one over the back in two and chipped it up close. That was sort of an easy birdie.
16, hit it to about 15 feet, then rolled that one in.
Then 7, which is a hard hole, about 20 feet, and that one dropped in for me. So it was good.
Q. You had an interesting approach there at 18, right?
JACK BUCHANAN: Yeah, hit it just on the sand, but it was like really firm. I was a bit worried about how it came off. Ended up getting on the green in two putts, get away with the par there, which was good.
Q. What's the mindset going into tomorrow, 36 holes, one shot? Also, you've got the potential for International Series.
JACK BUCHANAN: I think my mindset is going to be similar to today, just control what I can control, hit as many good shots as I can and stay patient.
Q. What would it mean if you were to get that golden ticket?
JACK BUCHANAN: It would mean everything. I don't even know how to explain it. It would change your life a bit.
Q. Would you play the International Series if you got that top 10?
JACK BUCHANAN: Yes, definitely. It's definitely a goal of mine too tomorrow.
Q. One last question because I've been asking the Aussies this. Obviously this is really popular in Adelaide and Cam's team is pretty popular. Have you followed much of that?
JACK BUCHANAN: I'm from Adelaide, so yeah. I've watched it a few times. It would definitely be a cool one to play.
Q. Were you at the Watering Hole?
JACK BUCHANAN: Yeah, I did the hole the last couple years. It was good fun.
Q. What would it mean to actually play in front of your home crowd?
JACK BUCHANAN: It would be good, especially home crowd in front of my family and friends. It would be awesome.
