Q. Congratulations on the win. Congratulations on the goal. I would love for you to take us through the goal and how that played out. Greg Vanney was in here and started you with when he was asked about all the players who played well tonight. He said he didn't think you put a foot wrong tonight; couldn't pick one thing out. What does it mean to have a performance and get the goal and do so on a night where the Galaxy needed that rotation?

ELIJAH WYNDER: Yeah, obviously meant a lot for me to get the goal and have a good perform, like you said. I've been building for this for a while now, but it wasn't just me. We had the whole team put a collective performance in front to back. Had the three goals, had the shutout. So wasn't just me personally. I think the whole team, JT to the forwards, had a good performance.

Q. Can you walk us through your goal and how that came back to your foot? I think you kicked it out to Miki, right, and then it came back?

ELIJAH WYNDER: Yeah, I was driving in. I was going shoot it. I had a chance to shoot it first but saw Miki was wide open. Played it to him; didn't expect him to play it back to me. Just guided into the corner.

Q. You spent time down in the second team. Been bouncing back and forth. Greg has been talking about your development and what you needed to do. What does that performance do for your confidence?

ELIJAH WYNDER: I mean, it does a lot. Like you said, I've been bouncing in and out of the lineup, bouncing in and out of the roster. I played with the second team. At the end of the day you can only control so much. You just got to put yourself in a position to get your name called.

Q. Talk about your relationship with Edwin and Lucas on the night, how did that progress from early on to the end of the game?

ELIJAH WYNDER: Yeah, obviously Eddie has been in there for a long time. He knows the system really well. He's a great leader, a great friend, so when I was in there he was helping me out the whole game, talking me through everything.

And then when he leaves me and Lucas were in similar positions so we were just working together.

Q. I looked out at one point and you were on the field and you had a big smile on your face. What was it like out there today after maybe a season which you haven't played as much as you wanted? Did it feel good? Did it feel fun being out there and getting that goal?

ELIJAH WYNDER: Yeah, felt great just playing in general. It was a very fun game. Like you said, I was smiling the whole time, enjoying playing obviously. But I think when you're playing like we were playing today it's very enjoyable just to be out there.

Q. Greg was talking about how earlier in the year how he wanted the young players to take their opportunities. It seems like you guys did so today. What does that do for the rest of the year in which Greg has already said a lot of you guys will get minutes and chances to go ahead and impress?

ELIJAH WYNDER: I think it puts everybody in a good position to be ready. Harbor got a goal, too. Chris played his first game, full 90. Puts everybody in a position to be ready and show that we're ready when we're needed.
