Warriors 129, Wizards 118
Q. What were you displeased with and what were you pleased with?
WES UNSELD JR.: I didn't like the separation we allowed early in the third quarter. I think it got them going a little bit.
Defensive rebounding wasn't where it should have been. Thankfully that wasn't a huge issue as far as second-chance points, knowing that's a strength of this group. But I did like -- I thought we started the game well. Tempo was good. We were attacking the paint, got to the line, which is a positive.
I think as the game ebbs and flows, in stretches we don't make shots, and I think at times it deflates our defensive disposition a bit, but in general I thought there was pretty good stretches.
Q. Did Kuz injure his knee tonight or was he sore heading into it?
WES UNSELD JR.: No, he had like a little bump tonight. I don't know the exact play. It's pretty uncomfortable for him to continue.
Q. How do you feel like Jordan (indiscernible)?
WES UNSELD JR.: Yeah, I thought it was a really good moment. I thought that was really cool what they did and how they did it. Very well done. I think he enjoyed it. You could tell it meant a lot to him. All of the stuff leading into this, I think he's handled it gracefully. To his credit, to come out and perform, I think that tells me a lot about his mental fortitude.
Q. You mentioned he's kind of getting more comfortable. Is there something tactically that he's gotten used to or adjusted?
WES UNSELD JR.: Yeah, some of it, he's got the ball in his hands a little more, which plays to his strengths, and that's been by design. With that comes you make the right play, kind of read the flow as a point guard. So I think he's done it really well in spurts. He allows them to be aggressive at time, attack the paint, got to the line a little bit tonight. So I think a little bit of both, tactically, and there's more opportunity.
