Bulls 127, Wizards 98
Q. What do you feel like the Bulls were able to take advantage of in the first quarter and grab momentum even though they didn't really rack up a big lead until the second?
BRIAN KEEFE: Yeah, they hurt us deep in the paint. They were able to get the ball in the paint, score in the paint, offensive rebound in the paint. We didn't probably do enough of resistance early in the game, but then as the game grew, our fight actually got better, so I was pleased with that.
Q. Bilal had some good moments on both defense and offense, but what did you like that stood out?
BRIAN KEEFE: Yeah, I think Bilal has really been growing. You can see it each game. Just his activity, eight rebounds tonight, got to the free-throw line eight times. His cutting, I thought he did a pretty good job on guarding DeMar DeRozan. That's the first time he's guarding him. He's a tricky guy to defend. I think we're seeing growth each game now that he's been a starter, so I've been really happy with Bilal.
Q. Corey has been on fill-in duty these past four games. How nice is it to have a guy you can plug into a bunch of different line-ups?
BRIAN KEEFE: Corey is an absolute rock as a human. You can plug him into different situations and different lineups and he does well with each group. That's one unique skill set he has. He can play with everybody, each lineup, and he always plays well. To be able to have a guy like that on is roster is great.
Q. Justin is a guy who proved that couple games that he can really get his offense going. What do you like about how he scores or his offense in particular?
BRIAN KEEFE: He scores in the flow of the game. When he ball comes to him, he'll take open shots. He's a good driver off of catch. He plays a very efficient game. He doesn't over-dribble. Just plays off his teammates and a good defender, too.
Q. I wanted to ask about Deni. Obviously had kind of a late scratch, but he was trying to get going. He warmed up and everything?
BRIAN KEEFE: Yeah, he warmed up and he couldn't go at the end, by the end.
