Media Conference

Wizards 112, Toronto 109

Q. How would you describe the way that Kyle shook off his shooting night to come alive in the fourth quarter?

BRIAN KEEFE: That's what good players do. You find a way. Missing some shots early that he usually makes but put his head down, got to the rim and made some good plays down the clutch but that's what good players do. Kyle is a good player.

Q. How about the pass from Jordan and the shot from Corey?

BRIAN KEEFE: Great. Matchup we wanted. They trapped him. Jordan trust it. Made an unbelievable pass to Corey in the corner. Big shot. Great pass. Way to trust.

Q. What do you foresee the plan for Tristan being in terms of acclimating him?

BRIAN KEEFE: He's part of our group so we are going to use him. That's what we do. He's already been here getting ready getting used to our system. He got his first career rebound tonight so I was happy for him. But we're excited to have him here and he wanted to be here. He wanted to be part of our group, our team which is a big deal, and we're excited to have him in our development program.

Q. What do you think he does well?

BRIAN KEEFE: Basketball IQ. Passing, obviously spacing the court, his shooting. But a good play maker. I think those are the things we've seen so far.

Q. If I'm not mistaken, limiting Sacramento to 102 and Toronto to 109, what's been going well defensively?

BRIAN KEEFE: He want to make this a point before I go too far. Johnny Davis, Patrick, they gave us a big lift when they came in the game tonight. Big energy. Blocked shots. Hustle plays. Big on the boards tonight.

Nice to have Marvin back. Had a great second half. Johnny and Patrick, great energy for us tonight when we were struggling to find some stuff. They came in especially that third quarter, both of those guys were helpful beginning the fourth. Happy for them.

Q. Winning two in a row, what does that do for a group's confidence trying to build for a young team?

BRIAN KEEFE: Always great to get the win but we are completely locked in to the day-to-day process. So one of the things they were pleased with tonight, we were not playing great the whole game, they made a run, but we had resiliency. I think we have shown that recently and I think those are the things we are looking to grow. Those are habits that you can build.

So we are looking as we finish the season to continue the big habits and one of those habits is when tough things happen during the game, what do you do, and I think the last couple games we've shown that we can withstand that and make a nice run at the end. So happy for our group but it's all about getting better the rest of the season.

Q. How did Marvin look in his return?

BRIAN KEEFE: Marvin is great. What did he end up with, 10-8, in limited minutes. Marvin always fills up the stat sheet, especially in the second half. I thought he was great. He was on the offensive board, finishing, two blocked shots. Just his activity. Nice to have him back on the court.
