Nets 122, Wizards 119 (OT)

Q. What can you take from you guys' late-game execution these past couple games? Obviously it didn't go your way tonight, but the whole stretch, what do you think?

KYLE KUZMA: I mean, this has been our best stretch of the year by far, win or loss. I think we lost a couple games, but our execution was still pretty well. I think that's something that we really built on a lot this year. BK has done a good job with just simplifying it, and whether it was me or Jordan, putting emphasis in the best position, and everybody knows where they need to go.

I think it's been great. Today for a quick second in overtime, because I'm going to count that late-game stretch, probably from the four-minute mark to 2:40, it was a little clunky. We had some stoppage, ball stoppage. But outside of that, I think it was fine.

Q. No turnovers, 10 assists from you. What was working well for you from the being able to dish --

KYLE KUZMA: I've really just been trying to slow down my game probably since All-Star and just pick my spots, play slow, use my pivots in the paint. Today really paid off a lot of times being in the paint. I think earlier in the season probably would have threw up some shots, but being able to play off two, if I don't have a shot or anything just kicking it out and getting off it and making things be simple.

Q. What's the feeling after a game that you lose, but late you guys have some great looks. You had the one that rimmed out and the three from JP where the shots just didn't fall?

KYLE KUZMA: Yeah, I can't believe that rimmed out. That was tough. That's how the ball goes sometimes. Even JP got a wide-open shot, and that's a shot that he makes. It was wide open, and he was cooking tonight.

Ball goes that way sometimes. You win some, you lose some. It's a make-or-miss league.

Q. What have you seen from Jordan playing the point recently?

KYLE KUZMA: I feel like he's been just more calm. Hasn't really been over dribbling. I think he's done a really good job of also play making within that. I think that's a real big emphasis for him when he's playing point because when you have a scorer's mentality, it's easy to look at the rim because -- especially a guy like him, he's extremely confident and he can make shots in bunches. Just understanding I'm also in a play-making position and I'm getting guys open looks and making the game easier for each one of us is really good, and it's great for his development.

Obviously he's a rhythm player, so with the dribbling, that helps him get into a rhythm. That's a lot of scorers. He's just been a great -- he's done a great job for the past couple weeks getting back to form.
