Timberwolves 130, Wizards 121
Q. Brian, you guys got off to such a hot start in the first quarter. It looked like you were staying calm and executing the game plan. What did you like about the start?
BRIAN KEEFE: I thought our defense was good to start the game and then we wanted to play aggressive offensively, attack the paint, and we wanted to kick out for threes.
We did that great. Really great sharing the ball early in the game. Really good job.
Q. Tough task for AG and Deni at times were obviously (indiscernible) to guard him. How did he they?
BRIAN KEEFE: I thought they did great. I thought we battled. I thought we were competitive. I thought we played with an edge tonight. I liked our energy. I liked our spirit. I liked our togetherness.
I thought it was a really good game for us in terms of those things.
Q. You guys have been sharing the ball really well and seem to be selfless in sharing scoring. What do you think has been working well?
BRIAN KEEFE: I think it's just the growth of our team. I think we're learning what it takes to get good shots on offense, and we have guys who can get downhill and make plays for others.
Then we just start the ball moving. That's how we got the lead.
So I think we're growing in those terms and realizing like what our identity is, how do we keep building that.
The guys really played unselfish tonight.
Q. Anthony Edwards, I think it was his first 50-point game. He was going to get hot eventually. What did you see from him?
BRIAN KEEFE: He made tough shots. We could have maybe done a little better job trying get the ball out of his hands.
But credit to him. He put them on their back. Conley had a big second half, too. There is a reason they're one of the best teams in the west.
