Rockets 135, Wizards 112

Q. In the second half Houston started to make a lot of threes and your shooting kind of cooled off. What do you think was the difference there in the last 24 minutes?

BRIAN KEEFE: I think it started at the end of the second quarter. We were up 55-50 and they made a little run, 7-0 run in the last minute, and that bled over into the second half. Too many live ball turnovers, too many offensive rebounds. That kind of summed up the game in the second half.

Q. Kuzma calf strain; is there any more context you can give us to that?

BRIAN KEEFE: I don't have any update to that yet.

Q. With their points off of turnovers, was that a product of your get-back defense? In other words, was your transition defense good enough or simply did they have too much of a head start on some of the --

BRIAN KEEFE: Some of it was just the turnovers were tough ones. They were ones that were pretty much quickly converted. That's a strength of theirs, and we fell into it tonight.

Q. With the turnovers, what were you seeing? Was it just guys trying to do too much? Was it getting into crowds?

BRIAN KEEFE: A little bit into crowds. I don't think it was anything intentional or anything anybody was trying to do wrong. They were trying to make the right play. They got their hands on some stuff. Unfortunately those just turned into lay-ups for them.

Q. Corey continued what's been a really good stretch from him since he came back from injury. He's talked about how he feels a lot looser now playing on the court. How important is that for a shooter, and where have you seen it from him?

BRIAN KEEFE: Just his normal stuff that he always does. I knew that this would -- he didn't start the season the way he would probably want to, but we all had complete faith that this is what would happen. He's found his rhythm in his game. He brings so much to our team, and he was the one that kind of generated a little bit when we were struggling because we didn't start the second quarter well. It was a 10-1 run there at the start and he came in and solidified the game, got us going. He's been great.
