Hawks 126, Wizards 96

Q. We did a better job in the second half with our turnovers, but the turnovers again in the first half that led to easy baskets in transition I thought was the separator. Ended up being even for the game, but we never really came back from that deficit.

Q. How did Corey get as free as he did?

BRIAN KEEFE: He's been doing this a long time. We lost him in transition, lost him in some movement. He's a great mover, has a knack for finding the right space. He's more than a three-point shooter, as we all know.

Q. With the turnovers, how do you want to see the guys try to alleviate some of that pressure of playing in crowds as you mentioned but also just is it as simple as just take that extra second, slow down just a tad and let's see where we're looking?

BRIAN KEEFE: Second half was better for sure. Got to give them some credit. This is what they do, and we wanted to see some growth. We just didn't see enough for the full 48, but the second half the guys were better.

Q. I know you're still integrating some new guys into the fold.

BRIAN KEEFE: Yeah.

Q. As much as a night like this and Tuesday with the turnovers and whatnot can be frustrating, how much does it also allow you to get those guys accustomed and comfortable with the system on both ends of the floor and them also getting minutes running through reps for the remainder of the season?

BRIAN KEEFE: It's great opportunities for guys to be there. Guys that are going to take advantage of them like they've done here for the last couple years when we've been in these type of situations. I thought the guys handled themselves well. They've just got to continue to grow. That's the biggest thing.
