Heat 150, Wizards 129

Q. When did you start getting the sense that Bam was having that sort of night? Can you go through some of the decisions you made in the game as he was getting to the line so often?

BRIAN KEEFE: Yeah, give him credit. In the first half he shot the ball terrific. He scored the ball really well. Obviously came out and had it a little bit in the third, too, but they obviously kept him in the game, and there was a lot of fouls called, 16 free throws in the fourth quarter. Was trying to take the ball out of his hands. He still got some, free throws 40 feet from the rim. I can't explain some of those calls. But that's all I've got to say on that.

Q. You guys shot the ball very well. Would you say the game got away from you simply with the amount of turnovers that led to them getting some points off of them?

BRIAN KEEFE: Turnovers or offensive rebounds. The possession game was definitely the key. We only lost the game by seven in the second half, but the fourth quarter just turned into not a real basketball game. We've got to be better with our ball security and we've got to own the fact that we let this guy get hot, and that's on us.

Q. Just the second time getting the limited minutes with Alex; what did you see from him and what did you think of his footing and his stamina?

BRIAN KEEFE: He looked great out there. He was on a restriction. He played until what his restriction was, and he was terrific. You saw his skill, his shooting ability, play making. I thought he was really good in his minutes.

Q. Will in the starting lineup, Tre in the game. What did you like about the way he was able to read the game and make some of the reads he was able to, whether it was for himself or his teammates?

BRIAN KEEFE: Yeah, he's just progressing. You can see the stuff that he can do, get into the paint, the ability to get to the free-throw line, shot-making ability just growing every day.
