Q. Front nine that had three bogeys, three birdies and three pars and a back nine that was clean in terms of bogeys. How would you assess your day?
BILLY HORSCHEL: There was a little bit more of a grind than yesterday, where it was easy, beautifully struck golf shots and not a lot of stress.
Today was a different story. Swing wasn't feeling nearly as good. Missed a couple putts for pars, and kept grinded away and stayed in the moment and not worry too much and tried to make a good golf swing every time.
Q. You told me you used to stay home and to the go to the golf course on the day the BMW PGA Championship was on TV because you loved it so much. What would it mean to you to win this championship?
BILLY HORSCHEL: You know, there's tournaments as pros that we want to win, the players, the majors, maybe a few others but as an American, you don't usually say a tournament on The European Tour.
To win the BMW PGA Championship would be equal to me as a PLAYERS championship. When I first came over two years ago, I fell in love with the golf course, which I knew I would. The fans have been great to me. The support has been great this year, even knowing I have support for West Ham.
It's became one of those tournaments after two years ago that I wanted to win, and so to get that victory tomorrow, if it happens, would be tremendous.
