Quick Quotes

Q. How are you feeling?

FABRIZIO ZANOTTI: I'm feeling actually good. Tried to be patient with the weather. It was not really windy. That helped because with the rain and wind, it was going to be much tougher.

But, yes, I just tried to keep the ball on the fairway. So sometimes you have some mud in the ball, so it was -- I think it was really important to leave the ball in the fairway. And I don't know, just tried to be patient all the day with the weather. Nothing you can do.

Q. Obviously with all this rain, it's going to make the course play a lot longer, at times tougher. Is it days like today when you find yourself keeping an eye on the leaderboard to gauge where everybody is?

FABRIZIO ZANOTTI: I saw there was really good scores, and I was feeling good, so I was just trying to do my thing. The course is wet, but that sometimes helps, but sometimes not also. Some fairways, they are easy to find it with these conditions, but it could be longer too. So it helps the ball both ways.

Q. It's been a season of a lot of form for you, most recently the top five finish you have at the Irish Open. What's pleased you most about the way you're playing today?

FABRIZIO ZANOTTI: I think I'm playing really solid. I am playing with a good attitude in the golf course. That's very important. And I think that if my putter help me a little at the end of the season, it would be a good end of the season.
