Q. A valiant effort, your fourth round in the BMW PGA Championship, summarise that?
AARON RAI: Yeah, a really good round overall. Probably the best scoring conditions that we had all week. A little bit less wind made things more accessible than the previous three days.
Got off to a good start. Made three birdies on the bounce on the back nine. It was nice having a chance.
Q. I can't remember the last time at Wentworth we saw a leash like this. It was pretty bunched. What would have made the difference for you today?
AARON RAI: It's hard to say. I feel like I did a lot of really good things to get in a good position. Was close to making birdies on 15, 16 and just didn't play 17 as well as I would have wanted. Especially with the finish, how much can change, 17 and 18, great chances to make birdie.
Q. A great week, lots of positives, onwards and upwards to Abu Dhabi?
AARON RAI: Yeah, really good week overall. This is our biggest event on the DP World Tour. It's an amazing tournament in its own right. To play well, to put four good rounds together is really pleasing.
Q. As the U.S. PGA Champion, did you feel a difference in the reception you got at Wentworth here this week?
AARON RAI: The reception is always really good. I've been very fortunate over the last few years to get some really good support out there. This definitely melt more compared to the last couple years, it was a really warm reception, and yeah, great following, it was amazing.
