Q. Your eighth DP World Tour title and your fifth Rolex Series in a tournament that you used to wake up early to watch in the U.K. How special is this moment?
TYRRELL HATTON: Yeah, it feels amazing. I said earlier in the week, this is one of the events that you would like to have on your C.V. It's such an iconic event for the DP World Tour.
To add my name to the list of the amazing champions that have been before me, and yeah, to have my name on that trophy now, yeah, it's a dream come true.
Q. Let's talk about the round itself. You started one behind, made the turn out in 33, two ahead, pegged back to one when Dan birdied the 11th. Feelings and emotions as those last seven holes unfolded? Because it was very tight?
TYRRELL HATTON: Yeah, I actually thought they had the score wrong because when he double hit on the chip shot, I actually thought it counted as an extra shot. Hugo told me on the par 5, was it 13, and I thought it was two, but it was one.
But yeah, I'm not going to lie, I was pretty nervous on the back nine to be honest. And yeah, I guess I just maybe wanted it a bit too much. Yeah, I knew the position I was in, and a little bit scruffy down the last. But yeah, to see that putt go in felt amazing. Just so happy to win.
Q. This victory takes you to the top of The Race to Dubai and back into the top 10 in the World Rankings and we think first or second in the Ryder Cup rankings because we are not sure how many points Rory is going to end up in in a tie for fourth. We now how important to you Ryder Cup is. What are your feelings on that?
TYRRELL HATTON: Well, again, like I said earlier in the week, this event and the four majors this year are massive for me to try and earn as many points as I can to try and be an automatic qualifier. This is a big step in the right direction. So happy with that, and looking forward to the rest of the year.
