Q. Big week ahead of you at Sunningdale for the Senior Open. How are you feeling?
K.J. CHOI: Senior Open is always very exciting because in my control. This week in Sunningdale, I'm first time visit here, so I play. So many players, great course, and great greens and everything and the grounds keeping is all fantastic. Twice I play, Monday, Tuesday. Fantastic. Tee and greens and fairways, the ground is very good. Bunkers and the greens are very clear.
So which shot miss, we know, exactly, we know. Different links golf, Sunningdale. Lovely here.
Q. Is it the kind of course that you like and you feel that you can be aggressive with if need be?
K.J. CHOI: Some different in links course with bouncing. This course is hilly. The greens look not slow and up-and-down is very fast. Some confusing on the greens, the reading. The level, it's very fast down. Sometimes many three-putt. The greens is not easy.
So it is smaller. It looks round and a little tricky. I don't know if the wind is blowing. On this course, very important the second shot.
Q. You come in defending champion. Does that have a different feeling especially when you see that massive picture of yourself behind 18?
K.J. CHOI: I look around the side and the walled, big pictures, I'm so happy. It's very nice. The feeling is not nervous but a little exciting. Still, my golf game, strike the ball and control is all right. A little bit my short game, a little improving, the putting more better. This week get a good chance.
This course, anybody, long hitter, short hitter, has a good chance. Because of the reachable par 5 and some reachable par 4, not too long, some long. But we can do best and I will try to do my best.
