Q. Great final round here at Sunningdale for The Senior Open Championship, a 67. How do you summarise today's play?
TIM O'NEAL: It was good. I didn't get off to a good start. Making par on the first hole, shorter par 5, a little bit of a slow start but got it going a little bit. I would have been happy with 67 starting the day but I left a few out there.
All in all, I hit it pretty well and looking forward to tomorrow.
Q. You have a fascinating history. When we look at your golfing career you've played over many, many different tours over many continents. How have you come to be so adventurous in your professional career?
TIM O'NEAL: I don't know. I just play wherever they let me play. So I played, now it's called the Korn Ferry Tour, PGA TOUR Latin America, so golf has taken me all over the place. Fortunate that I've been able to play a lot of nice places. And I'm glad to be here, and hopefully I'll be able to play a good tournament this week.
Q. If your playing career says anything when you look at where you've played and where you've found success, one word sticks out, and that's "perseverance." How have you maintained such incredible drive over the years?
TIM O'NEAL: That's a good question. I don't know how to do anything else, I guess. I've played golf all my life and loved the competition. I just love to compete. Now I'm on the Champions Tour and able to win last year on Champions Tour.
So yeah, I just love the competition. I'm just trying to get better every day, and yeah, I love being out here. Love being at Sunningdale. Just soaking it all in.
Q. You're very well travelled, you've seen courses all over the world, how does it stack up in your eyes?
TIM O'NEAL: First time playing, I loved it. Course fits my eye. You have to drive it well, for the most part, you know, same thing, you just have to stay patient, try to hit fairways and hit green and just try to make some putts here and there.
Q. Persevere.
TIM O'NEAL: Exactly. Persevere.
