Q. 5-under par 65 and you find yourself well in contention in this championship going into the weekend. How excited are you?
JUSTIN LEONARD: Yeah, it's a good start. Yesterday I played pretty well. Just struggled with my putting a little bit and didn't really finish the way I wanted to.
Today just solid. Hit the ball well. Holed a few putts. Nice eagle putt at 14.
Yeah, it was a comfortable day. I think I played well last week under different conditions, different style of course, but I think good play translates.
It's nice to kind of come in here with some good feelings. And I love this golf course. It's a lot of fun to play, very strategic and, yeah, just enjoying my time here.
Q. You mentioned last week. How much of a help is that, I won't say a free hit, but come over and get acclimatized?
JUSTIN LEONARD: As much as you can. Two very different golf courses. Still, I think going over and playing some good golf certainly gives me some confidence for this week.
Q. Looking to become the fifth player to win The Open on the Senior Open. Padraig and Ernie up there on the leaderboard as well. How much of a driver is that to add your name to the history books once again?
JUSTIN LEONARD: Well, you know, I love competing and being in contention. Usually when you are it's against Hall of Famers on this Tour. No surprise they're up there. You know, we're just halfway there yet, so just keep doing my thing and see where they add up at the end.
