Q. Senior Open this week at Gleneagles. How much are you looking forward to this one?
SCOTT HEND: Yeah, hopefully go a couple spots better than last year and play solid. It's always exciting to come play an R&A Championship, and we'll see what happens.
Q. You've been in fantastic form, recent PGA TOUR Champions victory. How much confidence do you take from that?
SCOTT HEND: I've been playing nice. I had some issues where I had a driver break and then I had a driver stolen from my bag on my way over here from the States. Let's see if we can still get around with hopefully the one driver I have doesn't break because my back up was stolen in the back. Hard to get a golf club you can trust. Finally got a golf club I can trust with PING, and I was driving it good. So hopefully can keep that up.
Q. Have you had a chance to get out there yet? What you do you make of the Kings Course?
SCOTT HEND: No, I haven't seen it yet. The only course I know is the Ryder Cup course around the outside. So today in the Pro-Am will be a good look and see what we're up against.
Q. What would it mean to get your name on that trophy and win a senior major this week?
SCOTT HEND: Yeah, obviously my next goal is to try and achieve a senior major at some point in time. To get any trophy would be great, and this get on this one would be good because then it will be in St Andrews next year. That's a nice little bonus that would be.
Q. Do you set yourself goals for the season or take it week-by-week at the moment?
SCOTT HEND: I have week-by-week goals. If you don't have a goal, you've got nothing to strive -- work towards. Obviously I've achieved a fair bit this year so have to reassess what's going on and we're working towards stuff.
