Quick Quotes

Q. Really nice up-and-down at the last for a 65, tied for the lead. You've always been a great ball-striker, when you come to a ball-striker's course like this, do you feel like, this is mine?

JAMES KINGSTON: I came here, I feel like I've been a little unprepared. I was down with COVID and in hospital or whatever, so I don't think my preparation coming into this week is exactly what I would have liked. But when you get to a place like this and you like the golf course, it seems to just sneak into your game, and I love way see out there.

Like you say, it's the kind of course, if you see the shots, then you can hit them.

Q. A lot of players talk that this is one of the greatest walks in golf. Can you get distracted when you're walking around out there from the golf?

JAMES KINGSTON: Absolutely. You sometimes forget to hit your shot. You keep looking at the scenery, those purple flowers with the green, and all the stripes in the fairways, it's just a beautiful golf course. It's one of the most prettiest golf courses I think I've ever played.

Q. How much would it mean to you to win?

JAMES KINGSTON: Obviously a hell of a lot. We all tee it up to win, that's what we come here for but I didn't come into the week with expectations and that's what I like, just do what I feel like I have to do and I feel like I'm starting to hit the ball better and like my swing was getting more into the groove. Had a great tee ball today and we all played decent and spurred each other on. Beautiful day, great weather, and can't get much better than this.
