Quick Quotes

Q. Second round 71, two birdies, two bogeys, a very clean looking card overall.

PAUL BROADHURST: Yeah, a bit disappointed. The last six holes I played well and left some birdie chances out there. I didn't play very well coming in. Got a bit windy and strokes got a bit shorter. Ten minutes on the green and I'll be fine for tomorrow.

Q. Coming off 18, you would have felt like you lost ground on the field, but reflecting on the leaderboard, you know that's not the case.

PAUL BROADHURST: It felt easier but it wasn't. It was still playing tough. You can see that by the scoring. No one is taking it apart at all. I guess the greens are a yard slower than we normally play, and it makes it just that little bit harder because you've got to hit it. I see a lot of players leaving putts short. But you totally understand why the greens are not -- you can't have that on links golf, not with the wind, so you have to adjust.

The weather forecast I don't think is very good at the weekend. Going to be a bit like the Friday of 2017 I think, so I don't know. If it's as bad as they are saying, I can't see anybody finishing under par to be honest. 5-over could win it. We'll see. I think we are in for a tough weekend.

Q. You've touched on it, it's going to be 25 to 30 on average, maybe as high as 40. Is there a score you'd like to be at to make yourself comfortable going into Sunday?

PAUL BROADHURST: I don't know. That's such a difficult question. Nobody is shooting the lights out and the wind is 15 miles an hour. When it gets up to 30, 40 around here, it's going to be brutal.

But we'll see what happens. I don't know. I don't know. You know, like I said, 5-over could win quite easily, a couple of 5-overs could be looking really good at the weekend.
