Quick Quotes

Q. 5-under par through five holes, so not the start you were hoping for but a 75, how was that?

GREIG HUTCHEON: Some of my decision-making was off. Tried to hit 5-wood out of the rough, second shot at first was a bit silly. I didn't think the shot was that bad. It came out lovely. It just drifted out right on me and the ball was never found. That's the way it goes. The course was really brutal today. Very difficult.

Q. You told us yesterday you were nervous and had a bit of altitude sickness when you saw your name on the leaderboard. How was it emotionally today?

GREIG HUTCHEON: It wasn't too bad. You're concentrating so hard on standing up and keeping your balance. There was so much going on. The other thing that was really difficult on a lot of tee shots is grass blowing, going across the ball mid swing, deadly, blowing, your trouser legs are flapping and it's just, yeah, it's a battle. It's really tough.

Q. Thoughts on the opportunity to win the Senior Open tomorrow? Potentially life-changing win with an exemption for the Champions Tour over in America?

GREIG HUTCHEON: Yeah, it would be amazing. To win would be fantastic. But I think looking at the weather forecast tomorrow, we have the same wind, maybe even stronger, plus maybe rain. So it could be really wild. It could be really wild. I've got two rain gloves with me which I think will be beneficial. I think I might need both of them.
