Q. Could you talk me through your round and how you felt on the course?
DAVID PUIG: Yeah, it was obviously a very good score. I think that my short game and then putting kind of saved me a little bit. Long shots were super tough to judge, and there's some good swings that end up pretty bad and there's other ones that are somehow in play.
So it's pretty difficult to get a proper conclusion of how I hit it today. But definitely the short game was my strength.
Q. And how does it feel playing back in Madrid, being back in your home country?
DAVID PUIG: This is actually my first Spanish Open ever as a pro. I played it here three years ago as an amateur, and coming back as a pro and just playing in front of the Spanish people is great. Yeah, looking forward to the next days.
