Q. Great round today, can you just reflect on today?
PATRICK REED: More frustrating honestly today. I hit the truck driver a lot better. Hit nine fairways I think today. Had one or two of them that were just in the first cut, which were fine. Yeah, just hit a lot of quality iron shots to decent spots. Just didn't quite see the lines on the greens like I did the first two days. A bunch of burned edge, a couple chips that looked like they were going in that just kind of ended up burning the edges.
To go around this place one bogey, 68, and improve on the things that really were bothering me the last two days, which was driving the golf ball, and to drive it better was a lot better today. Hopefully I can continue to do the same thing tomorrow, hit the driver solid, play from the fairway and maybe attack this golf course a little bit more and take advantage of those opportunities. You know, we are still in this golf tournament. Need to make a couple more putts. I felt like that's what really kind of cost me today was the putter. Felt like I was hitting good putts. One of those days, burned edges.
Q. What was the experience of playing with Jon in Spain today?
PATRICK REED: It was awesome. The amount of people that were out there, it was amazing. You always know, playing with Jon it's going to be a lot of fun and it's good to be out there. Just having the crowd around and get going was a lot of fun.
The great thing with these fans, obviously everyone knew who they were rooting for; they were rooting for Jon. But they were very supportive of myself and Sam, and they were a respectful and amazing group of people out there watching us play.
