Q. Nice round. If you could talk about what worked for you on the course, off the course as well.
MACKENZIE HUGHES: Yeah, today the difference really was I saw a few putts go in the hole from a little bit further out, kind of mid-range distance. Kind of got the round going a bit, got me some momentum and, yeah, it was really a fun day, kind of wish I could have gotten a couple more, but yeah, happy with the day overall.
Q. You put yourself in a position to win a hard medal for tomorrow going in. What are your thoughts, what are the thoughts for to be able to win the hard medal?
MACKENZIE HUGHES: Yeah, I know I'm still well on the outside looking in, but I do have a chance and you always have a chance until the last shot, I guess, so I'm going to give it all I have tomorrow and we'll see what happens.
Q. Heat is definitely factor here, it's very hot out there. What's your strategy against that?
MACKENZIE HUGHES: Try and find the shade as much as possible, drink lots, make sure I'm eating and that's really about it. I deal with the heat on a pretty regular basis where I'm from, so it's not too uncommon, but it is very, very hot this week and it's been definitely a challenge.
