Q. After some pretty good holes early on, what happened, any change in your game?
MIN WOO LEE: No. Just probably took clubs that are a bit too short but yeah, just average swings. Then just really a momentum kind of thing. The front half of it was unreal, actually. Didn't really miss a shot and hit some shots that I never really hit.
So yeah it was really good to see that.
Q. That eagle on the 9th --
MIN WOO LEE: Yeah, driver, 3-wood and then the chip, it was in the rough, in the light rough and it was teed up. So it was looking good. I was really keen on chipping it and thought I had a good chance. Came out perfectly and went in.
Q. Does it change how you reflect on what happened on the opening day and rue what might about been?
MIN WOO LEE: Yeah, it's kind of a blessing in disguise, really. I played that bad that -- I mean, the score, I think, was worse than how I actually played. Just a few really bad swings. But again, I think the good is really good. I showed it today, and yesterday, and that's the thing that I didn't see when my game was, you know, when I didn't kind of go through the swing changes.
So yeah, lots of positives.
Q. And going into tomorrow, what do you do tonight? Do you change anything? Do you focus on anything particularly?
MIN WOO LEE: No. Same thing. Just go out as a team and hang out and yeah, Jason is obviously playing well, and hopefully we can see him on the podium tomorrow.
But everything's the same.
Q. What's it like out there with the atmosphere? Pretty wild.
MIN WOO LEE: Unreal. Yeah, every hole there's a lot of people, which is awesome. It just shows how big the Olympics golf is, and it's awesome. It's unreal, really.
Q. Will you become chief cheerleader if Jason is in the mix?
MIN WOO LEE: Yeah, I'll probably stick around. Here till Monday so celebrations if he does win.
Q. Is it a different thing to think about, the fact that a teammate could be in contention tomorrow afternoon and you could be there to cheer him on?
MIN WOO LEE: He even if it was a normal tournament and I was around, I would for sure support, especially Jason. He's been a good role model.
Q. Do you play any different?
MIN WOO LEE: No, it's still a golf tournament. The only difference is the cut, really. Yeah, maybe I just gave myself a bit more motivation. We know there's a lot of holes left, which the crowd was encouraging and yeah, been doing well so far.
