Q. What did you hit on 18?
MORGANE METRAUX: Hybrid. Hit my driver a little too short. I was in between 5-iron and hybrid.
Q. How did today feel playing in the final group?
MORGANE METRAUX: It was fun. It was a lot of fun. I was a lot more calm and serene than I thought I was going to be. It was really helping playing with girls I knew and are super nice, too.
Yeah, I had a lot of fun, and things just didn't quite drop for most of the round for me. But I stayed really patient and it paid off on last hole.
Q. The rainbow?
MORGANE METRAUX: It's actually a funny story behind it. I went to drop some stuff off in my locker before playing and I forgot my glove in there. I had a become up one but it was like an older one because I signed one yesterday that I gave away. Just happened to play with my -- I do that quite regularly.
So it wasn't an issue.
Q. Do you have a superstition for tomorrow?
MORGANE METRAUX: No.
Q. Will you need to wear that?
MORGANE METRAUX: No, I don't think I'm very superstitious.
Q. And you must be really proud of the way you fought back out there in sticky moments.
MORGANE METRAUX: I stayed patient today. That was the key today. I just focused on myself and didn't let what everybody else was doing get to me. I know this course is very difficult, and any hole can get to you at any point.
Nelly was a perfect example yesterday. She had a great round and just one hole cost her a lot.
So you have to just be on the whole time and focus on yourself, and I was able to do that today.
Q. Anything that you can draw on?
MORGANE METRAUX: I don't think anything is close to the Olympics for us.
Obviously I came in this week, just telling myself, it's medal or nothing. So just give it everything, obviously without attacking too much but within reason. I think I need to go into every event with that mentality because it seems to be working well.
It's just fun to play in front of so many people and have so much support and play so close to home, too. It's really a lot of fun.
Q. Are you thinking you're in contention to a Gold Medal tomorrow?
MORGANE METRAUX: No, and I don't want it to. I'm just going to keep playing. Tonight I'm just going to get my mind off of golf and just do other things. I have plenty of family and friends with me. So we're just going to have a fun night and just keep doing the same routine tomorrow, and hopefully it goes my way. We'll see.
Q. What do you think you'll do this evening to keep your mind off?
MORGANE METRAUX: Honestly not much. I'm just going to get some recovery. Just recovery, a little bit of recovery, dinner and rest and it will be tomorrow already.
Q. Are there any TV shows you watch?
MORGANE METRAUX: I think I'll watch the athletics tonight. My caddie is into it. We're staying at an Airbnb together. Yeah, I think that will be on tonight.
