Q. When you made the turn, birdie, birdie, birdie, what were you feeling?
BROOKE HENDERSON: Yeah, that was great. Three birdies in a row. Another one on 10. So I felt like things were going in the right direction. So I had another look on 11, which was a pretty good look.
Gave myself a lot of good opportunities. I feel like if I had made two or three different putts throughout the rounds, I feel like momentum would have been more in my favour and might be a different story standing here.
But overall I feel like it was a good fight the last two days and nice to be kind of back in the action.
Q. How would you describe that round in general?
BROOKE HENDERSON: I mean, it feels like I played really terrible but I still shot 1-under. So it was kind of a mixed bag. I feel like I hit a lot of great shots, and sometimes they just didn't turn out as well as I thought they were going to.
But I mean, overall, I feel like I'm right there and I've been saying that for a little while but I feel like I'm right there. A couple breaks, a couple putts and I feel like I'll be in contention in the coming weeks.
Q. Can you tell me about that balance you have to strike when it's 13th, 14th hole and you're only a stroke or two out of a medal, what kind of press do you put on there and how do you attack the course?
BROOKE HENDERSON: Yeah, for sure, it was unfortunate to make bogey on 13, it was just playing a tough hole today.
14, I was right there in two. I hit that chip and thought it had a chance to go in I was shocked when I got up there, and it was seven feet short because I thought it was a really good ship. It was just kind of one of those days where I hit some really good shots, I thought, and they just didn't turn out as well.
So it was unfortunate not to birdie there when I was so close and I feel like maybe even that would have given me a little boost in the right direction to keep it going. We're close. We're just working on it.
