ANIRBAN LAHIRI: Good day. It's been a long time coming, and I've been feeling that good feeling building over the last week. Last week was a very tough pill to swallow with how good I played and how badly I scored. It was a bit of a shake-up for me.
Even this week, I felt like I had to fight through my round on Friday, fight through my round yesterday. I think as I kind of got through those difficult days and difficult stretches, today it was closer to how I want to be mentally.
I'm still building. I think my best is coming. But I'm close.
Q. What about the team?
PAUL CASEY: The answer to winning team golf is picking three great teammates.
ANIRBAN LAHIRI: I mean, it's just the kind of stuff that Bryson does. He just goes super low. I think that was the key. It's not a joke shooting 8-under on a course like this on a day like this. I shot 5, and I thought I would be in the top 4 or 5, but both my teammates beat me. That's how good they played.
I guess it's about playing well at the right time, and I think tough days, Sundays, all four scores counting, you might see a lot of this through the year with teams coming from way behind because every score counts.
Q. This is the biggest margin of comeback --
ANIRBAN LAHIRI: Yeah, I'm not surprised. Shooting 20-under on any golf course is a big deal, and to do it on a course like this on such a windy day is actually, I think, one of the best Sunday team performances that you'll see for a while.
