LEE WESTWOOD: I missed five putts from inside six, seven feet, and it was mainly under-reading them, just 52-year-old eyes. I've got my reading glasses and am actually putting them on when I read the putts.
Q. Teeing off at 6:15, it's a completely different schedule. You weren't finishing until 11:00. What are you going to do? Are you going straight to bed or are you going to go practice?
LEE WESTWOOD: Well, the options, there's so many options, but I guess the guys that come from America have got a bit of an advantage because they'll be on a body clock that's nine hours behind and have jet lag and be sleeping in until 11:00, 12:00 in the morning, and that's what you want to do. I've been in Dubai for 12 days practicing, so I'm on their time, and waking up at 8:30 in the morning, it's a long time between 8:30 and 6:15 teeing off. I can only do so much in the gym and have so many meals. I've caught myself having four or five meals during the day.
Yeah, it presents all sorts of interesting and different challenges, teeing off at 6:15 at night. I was saying to Harold I think that's the first time I've ever finished at 10:40 at night. I said, are you going to go and hit some balls or some putts, and he's like, hell no.
Q. It's been 30 events without a podium finish for the Majesticks but you guys had a really good day as a team. Is this the year we see the Majesticks make something happen?
LEE WESTWOOD: Well, hopefully. I think we're all playing fairly well, obviously looking forward to the season ahead. I know we didn't finish on the podium last year but we had some really good chances. Just bad finishes the final day.
I think four scores to count is a big advantage to us. We're pretty consistent. Hopefully we'll keep this fun going. We played well today. We're right up there. I haven't seen the leaderboard yet, but it's the first round, so you can only play out the first round, so it's nice to be in there.
