Q. You couldn't have asked more from yourself today, 63, four straight birdies to finish. How would you sum it up?
JON RAHM: Yeah. I mean, I guess I could ask one more. The only thing I'm going to say today is the 6th hole. Get lucky off the tee, hit a good second shot, and not making birdie there, that was a mistake. That, and maybe the second shot on 11. Those are the two shots from today that I'm going to, if anything, be picky on.
It was a fantastic round of golf, shot 9-under. Elvis had a great day and a two-shot lead. If anything, if there's one or two shots to look at, I've got to go to earlier in the week.
Q. But you leave here on a positive note?
JON RAHM: Yeah, after taking this much of a break and coming in and playing this good and this comfortable, driving it way better than last year and overall doing good things, I'm happy.
Q. I wanted to ask you about playing a fourth round. Obviously you were a proponent of that. Today is kind of a perfect example of you kicked it into gear even more so than the previous --
JON RAHM: No, that's not -- no change whatsoever. I approach each round exactly the same. I think four rounds is better golf and better for the players who are playing good golf that week. It also gives you more time for a comeback, but if you're playing good, it gives you more time to get a lead.
Yeah, I just think it's better, too, for me personally. I thought it would be better for me and my team, and as a golf fan in general, as well, myself, I was always a proponent of 72 holes. I think today, both team and individual, showed why it can be such a good thing.
