Q. Abe, what was your game plan? You knew the conditions were going to be tough. What was the game plan come into today?
ABRAHAM ANCER: Just staying patient and hitting as many greens as possible. I knew the putter was feeling good. These putting surfaces are incredible and I have a lot of confidence when the greens are rolling nice and firm and fast. I just tried to put the ball in play, don't get in too much trouble because you can make a lot of bogeys with this wind, and I was able to do that.
Q. You're a crafty player; I'm assuming you love a course like this.
ABRAHAM ANCER: I love this kind of golf. Definitely not bomber's paradise. As you can tell, I'm not gifted with a ton of distance, but I love to move the ball around and play with my trajectory, and I love that. In Australian golf you can do that. You have multiple types of ways to get the ball in the hole, and I truly enjoy that. That's why I feel like I've played good in the past, and I have a lot of confidence here.
Q. Game plan tomorrow?
ABRAHAM ANCER: Same. Just blinders on, hit the fairway, hit the green, and if not, just minimize the big mistakes and make some putts.
