Q. Didn't finish the way you wanted to but you started out really hot. What were your overall thoughts on the round?
SERGIO GARCIA: Well, obviously I feel like I played really well the last two days, and unfortunately I've given away probably at least seven or eight shots in the last two rounds.
Today, the way I played, I could have easily shot 7-under, and I shot 3. Yesterday I probably should have shot 1-under in those conditions, and I shot 2-over or whatever I shot.
So yeah, it's a little bit disappointing. I'm not going to lie.
But the good thing is that I really like the way I'm striking the ball. I've been struggling a little bit with my game, a little bit in the past couple of months, but it definitely feels that a couple of things I've been doing, it definitely feels like they're trending the right way. I just need to score better. Simple as that.
Q. The good news is you're even. The leader is 7-under. Last year you were even and the leader was 7-under. Do you still feel like you're in a mix here at a golf course like this?
SERGIO GARCIA: Yeah, but everything has to go my way tomorrow. Not only do I have to play really well but then the leaders have to play badly. It's a big combination of things. That's why it's a little bit of a shame that even after shooting 2-over when we finished this morning, the way I played this afternoon, if I managed to shoot 6-under, which would have been easy the way I played, it should have been easy to shoot 6-under, you're 4-under par for the tournament, you're right there two or three shots back, and it's a bit more gettable.
But overall tomorrow I'll try to post a good round and see what happens.
