Q. Bryson, you said for the first two days you're playing well, but it's a case of Lucas is playing hard to get. Is that the same thing today?
BRYSON DECHAMBEAU: Yeah, it is. He's playing some incredible golf. He really isn't leaking much, and it's one of those things at this golf course, especially today. I did not think we would be going this low out here with the wind conditions and whatnot.
It's just a testament to how good golfers are out here. For me, I played some good golf. I felt like I could have had a couple things go a couple different ways, but the birdies on 16 and 17 were huge for tomorrow.
Q. How important is energy management on a course as unforgiving as this, as grueling to walk, and especially understand the conditions you've had for three days mentally?
BRYSON DECHAMBEAU: Yeah, it's a lot of hydration and recentering yourself, getting back to a place where, okay, it's tough for everybody, but go make a birdie, right? That's what I did a lot of today. You know, I was comfortable, but I just wish a couple things could have gone a different way.
Q. That's always the case, isn't it?
BRYSON DECHAMBEAU: That's golf, man. That's golf. So excited for the chance tomorrow and looking forward to a good battle tomorrow. Time to go get it.
