Q. That par putt was so close.
JON RAHM: I thought it was in. I guess there's just so many good things done this week, and only the third bogey of the week to make it in a playoff. It's unfortunate.
Q. Good rally getting that birdie on 17 to get a chance.
JON RAHM: 16 was the big one when I made that putt. Good back nine in general. Wasn't my best front nine. Wasn't my best day in general. Just it's painful. The two 9-irons on 18 were both the same swings, and the landing discrepancy was about 12 yards, which is quite surprising, to be honest. I still can't believe either one of those was that far from the pin, and then on 18 to not only go in the bunker but on the downslope and not the best lie in the bunker, I had no chance of getting it close. I was just hoping for a putt. Yeah, I thought that putt was in the whole way.
Q. Overall this week, again, it's another terrific effort. Your form is awesome right now. Anything to take from that?
JON RAHM: There's a lot to take from that. It stings a little bit more than I would like it to. But there's still obviously a lot of good things to think about. But right now it hurts more than anything.
Q. Fun going up against Brooks, though?
JON RAHM: Yeah. I mean, we've gone head-to-head a few times, and it's always a fun one for the spectators. It's fun for us and obviously more fun for whoever wins, but it always seems to come down the stretch. Last time I had a putt to win it on 18, and this time he was the one that ended up winning.
Q. If there is a consolation prize, you're playing for the individual championship. You and Joaco are the only two that have a chance to win in Chicago.
JON RAHM: Yeah, I don't know how close I am or not, but --
Q. You're almost right there.
JON RAHM: I mean, listen, beating Joaquin, I'm probably going to need to win. He's going to be up there. I'm going to need another good week, and hopefully get it done.
