Q. Sergio, great playing. What is it about difficult and firm golf courses that seem to bring out the best in you?
SERGIO GARCIA: I've always enjoyed those conditions. I feel like when it's playing tough and hopefully I can let my ball-striking do most of the work, it usually helps me. But don't get me wrong, I putted nicely. I made a few really nice putts, and I hit some really good putts like here on 17 that didn't go in. But I felt good all day.
Q. Describe to us how difficult this golf course is because it seems like every hole is crosswind.
SERGIO GARCIA: Yeah, good point. There's a couple that are helping off the side, but everything feels like it's a little bit of a crosswind here and there. The greens are very small, small targets, kind of a little bit like Valderrama, a little bit bigger but not a lot. Obviously with that, the wind and the greens being firm, it makes it very tricky to be able to hit a lot of greens.
If you can manage to do that, you have a lot won.
Q. Looks like you're going to be up against Jon Rahm tomorrow and maybe even Brooks. You're going to relish that, aren't you?
SERGIO GARCIA: Yeah, definitely. It'll be nice. We'll see where we stand, but I just want to go out there and believe in what I can do, give it my best shot, and then we'll see what happens.
