Q. Laurie, that was a solid round overall. I know earlier this week you talked about your personal pride taking a bit of a hit earlier this year. Do you feel like some of that is coming back?
LAURIE CANTER: Yeah, I mean, it's good to have a few good weeks. I played really nicely at JCB and had a good final round at Bedminster, a couple really good finishes. Yeah, coming in here, I knew my game was in pretty good shape, and yeah, once I got off to a good start, it's kind of get myself in the golf tournament, and I'm definitely right there and I've got a chance to win tomorrow if I go out and put a really good round together.
Q. You obviously are proven to be able to contend and win consistently. You're looking for your first LIV win. How are you going to embrace that challenge tomorrow?
LAURIE CANTER: Yeah, it's going to be a challenge. The atmosphere out here is great, the crowd at 18 here, and there's a few great players on that leaderboard. It's absolutely stacked, isn't it. I think sort of 10-under par, there's probably 12, 15 guys. There's absolutely no chance anyone can let off tomorrow.
We're going to have great weather again. We'll need to shoot something like I shot on Day 1 really. I got off to a great start today. Just stalled a little bit there on the back nine. A bit frustrated not to birdie 18 and drop one on 17.
Like I said, I think overall I'm happy with today, and I'm right in the tournament tomorrow, which I'd definitely have taken going out Thursday morning.
Q. Will you be watching that leaderboard all day tomorrow?
LAURIE CANTER: Yeah, I'll probably have a watch. I don't mind having a look and seeing where I am. I think it's useful. I think, yeah, first and foremost I've got to make sure I turn up and play great. I think that front nine, if you can really get your ball in play on holes like 6 and 8 and then it gives you a few wedge opportunities, and I think it's a nine that suits my eye, so hopefully I can get off to a great start and get myself up the top of the leaderboard and try and carry it home. Let's do it.
