Q. I want to ask you about today. A bit of a rocky start but a great bounce back.
RICHARD BLAND: Yeah, obviously not off to -- sometimes good rounds start with bad first holes. Yeah, I think it was important to get the birdie kind of straight back on 7. Then yeah, just tried to get it back to level par as quick as you can because you know you've got to get it going in the right direction. I was pleased how I bounced back from that.
Q. You were a day-one guy out here. What would a win tomorrow mean?
RICHARD BLAND: Yeah, it would be very special. Obviously I guess right now we've still got a little bit of uncertainty what the future holds. But yeah, you've got to try and just put that in the back of your mind. There's still 18 holes of golf to play. A lot can happen. I'm sure the lead is going to change many times. It's pretty bunched. I think there's a lot of guys within probably three, four of the lead, and as Michael showed yesterday, if you get the putter hot around here, you can go low.
Anybody from 7-, 8-under par is still in this, maybe even 5 and 6 if they shoot close to what Michael did yesterday. Yeah, still a long way to go.
Q. There's a lot of guys at the top of the that leaderboard that haven't won at LIV yet. Obviously Michael hasn't won at all. Do you feel a sense of hunger from guys in the final event of the season?
RICHARD BLAND: Yeah, of course. This is the last tournament of the season, so yeah, it's always nice to -- whoever wins tomorrow, it's a nice way to finish the season on LIV. We all want it a tremendous amount.
Like I said, you've just got to put that to the back of your mind. It's the old cliche, just take it one shot at a time, one hole at a time, and hopefully coming down the stretch you've got a chance. But yeah, it's one of those courses that is going to throw a lot of birdies, so you've got to get the foot down as quick as you can.
Q. It's pretty interesting that you've got the youngest guy in the league -- I didn't look at the final groupings, but I suspect it could be --
RICHARD BLAND: The youngest and the oldest, yeah. I'm sure he'll be 50 yards past me off the tee. He's a great kid. I've played with Michael a couple of times this year. You can see he's got a huge amount of talent. He's got a great future in front of him, wherever that future is. I'm sure he's going to be a star of the future.
If I am playing in that last group, I should be probably with Laurie, as well, who I know very well. We'll have a fun day.
Q. Do you remember 22?
RICHARD BLAND: I think I was just about ready to turn pro. Yeah, game has changed a little bit since then. Hopefully there's a little life in the old man yet. We'll see what happens tomorrow.
