Q. Bryson DeChambeau, it was some incredible play, an incredible battle from you and Jon Rahm today and others in the mix, including La Sasso. What are your thoughts?
BRYSON DeCHAMBEAU: Yeah, I played good today. I kept the ball in front of me for the most part and the didn't make too many mistakes. I was proud of the way I fought, and I started to catch some momentum on that back nine. Just the putts didn't drop today, and that's golf. It's a game of inches. Unfortunately today just didn't go my way. I don't feel like I left anything out there other than maybe hitting it a little harder and a bounce go my way on the last hole.
But for the most part it was some brilliant play by Jon today. He's an incredible golfer, and really impressed with how he's come back. I played with him the first round and he shot 3-under and didn't look like much, and for him to go and be at 17-under at the end of this is pretty impressive.
Q. How much did you feed off the incredible energy from all the people behind you?
BRYSON DeCHAMBEAU: Yeah, the city has been unbelievable here. Indianapolis has been incredible. They supported us great last year, and they did it again this year. I'm quite proud of the fact that we get to play a great golf course. Chatham Hills has been unbelievable, and they've been a great host.
Q. You've been such a huge part of the journey that has been LIV Golf 1.0. A little bit of an uncertain future; do you have any thoughts as we close out chapter 1?
BRYSON DeCHAMBEAU: I think there's a lot of potential moving forward. It's been an interesting ride, that's for sure. You know just as much as I have everything that we've gone through and the tough moments that we've had. But it's made us stronger.
As much as we're transitioning from LIV 1.0 to 2.0, I have great thoughts about what could happen next year. I wish I could be more up front about it. But ultimately I'm proud of the fact of what we've done, the good and some of the bad that we've unfortunately had, things that have occurred. I'm going to be real with it; not everything was perfect. But for the most part we've done a solid job. If there's one thing that I could say, it's we did something different in the game of golf, and I'm proud of that.
