Q. That was fun.
BRENDAN STEELE: That was really cool. Obviously it hasn't been the best year for our team, hasn't been the best year for Michael, so to finish like we did as a team plus him winning is incredible. We know that this is the level that he can play at and the team can play at, but we just haven't done it, and it's nice to finally do it.
Q. I know you didn't play with him today, but man, he seemed unflappable.
BRENDAN STEELE: As soon as I saw Rahm sneaking up early, I was like, okay, he's going to have to earn this one, and he sure did. That was really incredible. To birdie this last hole and chip it to a foot like that was really awesome.
Some guys are winners, and they're good at that. They're good at closing the door and stuff, and I think he's one of those guys that you give him a chance and he can pull it off. It's a really special quality and something that I think is -- gets overlooked in the game a lot of the time. There's a lot of players, but there's few guys that can actually close the door when they get the chance, and I think he can do that.
Q. How good can he be?
BRENDAN STEELE: I mean, talent-wise he's off the charts. He hits it a long ways. He hits it solid. He can shape the ball. He can hit a bunch of flights. His short game is good. He hasn't putted the way he wanted this year, and he started working with a new putting coach, Eric Dietrich, last week, and just a couple things on setup and start line and all of a sudden he wins the tournament. Shows you how just little changes can make a huge difference. But he's 22 years old, and he's winning on one of the best tours in the world, beating some of the best players in the world. The sky's the limit.
Q. How tough was that chip?
BRENDAN STEELE: Yeah, I mean, the angle is not great there, and it runs away from you. Obviously the greens are soft, but you have to strike it. There's a lot of grain down there. It's soft. You have to get a good strike on it, and then under the circumstances it becomes very difficult. If it's on Thursday, okay, yeah, it's a nice chip. But to win the tournament, it's incredible.
